John Zelazny

John Zelazny is the Executive Director of Trout Conservancy. He has a B.S. in Biology (1980) from Stephen F. Austin State University (Nacogdoches, Texas), and a M.S. in Environmental Studies (1987) from the University of Montana (Missoula, Montana). Before starting the Trout Conservancy in 2000, Mr. Zelazny had over 10 years of experience in professional environmental advocacy with organizations including the National Wildlife Federation, Wyoming Wildlife Federation, Trout Unlimited, Washington Trout, and the Northwest Ecosystem Alliance. John first came to Montana in the 1980's and has now devoted his career to protecting, preserving and enhancing the beauty of Montana's wild trout. His also the Chair of the Board of Directors of Trout Conservancy.
